City Chambers is situated on the High Street/Royal Mile, just a few minutes walk from Princes Street and Waverley Station. The building in on the opposite side of the road to St Giles Cathedral. From the High Street, access is via main reception, within the courtyard area.
There are no dedicated car spaces, but you can use one of the city centre car parks – go to

www.edinburgh.gov.uk/parking for more details.


Facilities for people with disabilities:

- disabled access to the City Chambers from the High Street
- lift access from main reception to Main Council Chamber
- passenger lift with voice announcements and Braille buttons
- induction Loop in the Main Council Chamber
- unisex disabled toilet facilities
- guide dogs welcome
- two disabled parking bays in the Quadrangle (courtyard) -these cannot be pre-booked
- there is also parking available for Orange and Blue badge holders in Parliament Square, Cockburn Street and St. Giles Street.
