AgricultureTrading Standards is responsible for enforcement of Part IV of the Agriculture Act 1970, which places controls on fertilisers and feeding stuffs. The Fertilisers Regulations 1991 control the labelling and content of fertilisers. Separate legislation is made under these Regulations to control the sampling and analysis of fertilisers. The Feeding Stuffs (Scotland) Regulations 2000 control the labelling and content of animal feeding stuffs.
