Pricing

  • All goods (and some services) should have a written price associated with them
    Find out more information on this, and further requirements for specific business types (e.g. bureaux de change)
  • Price indications must not be misleading, i.e. the price charged must correspond with the price marked (goods) or otherwise indicated (services)
  • If you are overcharged for goods or services, you are not entitled to claim the goods/service for the price that you originally expected to pay - but this may constitute a criminal offence that we can investigate
  • Sale goods should not mislead you as to the previous prices at which they have been offered.
