Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008

What will change?

These Regulations revoke the majority of existing fair trading legislation.  Therefore the law which applies to the scenarios listed below will all be replaced by the new Regulations.

• Clocked cars
• Misleading prices
• False membership of trade associations
• Making misleading claims about services
