Population Projections

Population projections for Scotland are normally prepared every two years by the Government Actuary's Department (GAD) in consultation with, and at the request of, the General Register Office for Scotland. Projected populations for administrative areas of Scotland, consistent with the national projections, are prepared by the Registrar General for Scotland.
